It rained constantly in the week prior to the 1999 show, saturating the parking areas and slowing the build and bump-in to snail’s pace. The show opened on time, however, it was necessary for the evening to have a tractor standing by to assist cars leaving the parking lot. The damage to the parking lot was excessive, and a revised parking strategy was implemented on Friday, then again on Saturday and Sunday to cope with the continued extreme weather.
