LAGOON BEACH CLUB VIP EXPERIENCE
Upgrade your Boat Show experience with a VIP ticket to the Lagoon Beach Club. Situated in the grounds of the InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort and offering a luxury beach club vibe, guests will enjoy all-day dining, free-flowing beverages, pop-up bars, gourmet tasting experiences and live entertainment. It’s the perfect locale for a great day out with friends or colleagues.
MAIN STAGE WITH PAUL BURT
Anthony James MC and SCIBS Ambassador Paul Burt are our Main Stage hosts. Serving up expert fishing advice, and cooking tips to whet your appetite. Join the 7News weather, boating and fishing expert and discover how to cook simple seafood dishes at home or on your next outdoor adventure.
BERKLEY SUPERTANK
The Berkley Supertank offers spectators a fish’s-eye view without getting wet. Visit this spectacular giant mobile fish tank near the Main Stage and watch fishing expert Brett Thomson demonstrate different types of fishing lures and angling techniques to show how fish react to improve your strike rate for your next trip on the water.
SEA TRIAL ZONE
Strap in for a thrilling waterborne experience aboard a powerboat, trailerable boat or recreational watercraft at the Sea Trial Zone. Set off on a sea trial aboard the latest vessels at the show with experts on hand to demonstrate the range and answer any queries while you enjoy an immersive boating experience on water.
LIVE BREAM SHOOT OUT
Fishing guru Paul Burt will also be on hand to host the popular SCIBS Live Bream Shoot Out where amateur anglers can compete for sensational prizes. In teams of two, the competition sees fishing fans head out to deep waters in the morning and return each afternoon with their catch. Witness the official weigh-in and announcement of the winners on stage on Sunday.
STREET PERFORMERS
The much-loved SCIBS street performers will be out and about, bringing the buoyant festival vibes to the greatest show afloat.
SPECIALTY BOATS ON WATER
Be wowed by the fleet of specialty and professional marine vessels on show at SCIBS 2024. Check out the amazing selection of sleek superyachts – all docked and on display on the Marina.
