New Models Ready To Launch At The Boating Festival

There’s not long to go until the Sanctuary Cove Boating Festival this weekend! With a big line-up of day, sport, fishing and leisure boats, as well as sail and power catamarans, the upcoming Sanctuary Cove Boating Festival will whet the appetite of marine enthusiasts.

The event will feature an impressive range of Australian and international brands that service all ends of the market. Major marques confirmed to premiere premium vessels include Leigh-Smith Yachts, Riviera and the Multihull Group, with multiple worldwide and Australian launches scheduled to take place.

One of the first to secure space at the event, Riviera’s owner Rodney Longhurst said the premium luxury motor yacht builder was gearing up to premiere a number of new models on water.

“The Sanctuary Cove Boating Festival will be a great opportunity for boating enthusiasts to step aboard a premium showcase of Riviera motor yachts at a boat show for the first time this year in Australia,” said Riviera owner Rodney Longhurst.

“The two newest additions to our growing fleet are the Riviera 50 and 64 SMY models, extending our popular Sports Motor Yacht collection to four models.

“These new yachts, along with the larger 68 and 72-foot yachts, have the attributes of a passage maker, pilothouse, motor yacht, and convertible sports fisher, all in one.

“We believe they are truly in a league of their own and in November we will showcase the 50, 64 and 72 for the first time at Sanctuary Cove.”

Leigh-Smith Yachts will premiere the sophisticated Fairline Squadron 53, designed in collaboration with one of Italy’s most exciting yacht designers. They will also premiere the Hampton Endurance 750 which features many fantastic additions that are sure to impress.

“The Endurance will take you and your guests wherever you voyage in luxury, comfort and style, Dean Leigh-Smith said.

“It offers dual Portuguese bridge decks, three staterooms each with ensuite, expansive Sky Lounge, the latest array of Garmin electronics and several social lounging and formal dining areas for up to eight people.

"The vessel has been equipped with state-of- the-art stabilisation, hydraulic thrusters and four external wing stations to ensure maximum manoeuvrability for any owner-operator,” he said.

Additionally, the Multihull Group will undertake the Australian premiere of the award-winning Lagoon SEVENTY 8. Which offers more than 25 metres of luxury on the sea and features a spacious galley, cinema, boardroom, meeting area, workshop and separate crew quarters.

The Multihull Group’s managing director, John Cowpe, said they are very excited to introduce this incredible vessel to the marketplace.

“The SEVENTY 8 from Lagoon has a unique broad-scale offering when you consider volume, range speed and comfort," he said.

Access to the Sanctuary Cove Boating Festival is made easy with free on-site parking. While the event is free for the public, visitors must register their attendance to comply with COVID Safe plans.
