An incredible array of super-sized motor yachts, awesome aircraft and performance-boosted supercars is set to wow visitors at the 2019 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS).

Proving SCIBS continues to raise the bar when it comes to luxury items, a plethora of crowd-pleasing superyachts will be among the more than 300 exhibitors on water, in pavilions and throughout the vibrant Marine Village from May 23-26.

“These stunning larger vessels are an always impressive sight on the marina,” said SCIBS Sales and Partnerships Manager Dominic O’Brien.

“They are destined to have a greater presence on our shores, given the investment in superyacht infrastructure in South-East Queensland, and we can’t wait to welcome them to SCIBS.”

Horizon Yacht Australia will herald the arrival of the largest Horizon ever to cruise our waters – the Horizon RP 122, which has an overall length of 121ft 10in (37m), twin MTU V16 2600hp engines, the latest state-of-the-art Black Box Furuno navigation package and a retractable hydraulic sunroof.

Horizon Yacht Australia’s new Fast Displacement motor yacht – the Horizon FD77 Skyline – will also make its debut at SCIBS 2019, while the company will display two new 75ft motor yachts and the popular V81.

Alexander Marine Australia will present the sensational 40th anniversary, limited-edition Ocean Alexander 88 Skylounge, which has only just landed in Australia.

The 88 Skylounge has a versatile four-stateroom and two crew cabin layout, with large galley and forward settee lounge area, a high/low swim platform, luxurious top-deck jacuzzi and an enclosed skylounge that doubles as an extra saloon for entertaining.

Longreef Motor Yachts will display its current 88 model that is the precursor to the 90 model, which is under construction and scheduled for delivery in 2020.

According to Longreef founder and Director Andy Young, the 88 is a high-quality, Australian-designed cruising motor yacht that is “the perfect combination of sportiness, elegance, and spacious luxury” with a nine-seater cinema room, large foredeck, undercover aft deck and fantastic flybridge.

SCIBS 2019 will also see Princess Motor Yachts present the Princess Y75, which offers efficient, agile cruising that enables users to plane at lower speeds, along with its V65 and V58 models and four brokerage boats.

The Princess Y75 features a walkthrough foredeck with U-shaped seating and sunbathing area, spacious flybridge with lounge and table, three guest cabins with ensuites below deck and a dedicated staircase leading to the owner’s stateroom amidships via a private lobby area.

For car lovers, Supercar Street will showcase marques of the calibre of Bentley, Maserati, Lamborghini, Land Rover, Jaguar, Porsche and Mercedes-Benz.

Bentley Brisbane and Bentley Gold Coast will mark its seventh consecutive year as the major sponsors of SCIBS, along with celebrating an incredible milestone for Bentley Motors – a centenary of creating iconic Grand Tourers.

The quintessential British luxury brand is honouring 100 years of innovation, achievement and craftsmanship in 2019 and its continued partnership with SCIBS presents the perfect opportunity to welcome the new Bentley Gold Coast dealership, display the extraordinary Bentley range and showcase the latest Bentley model – the Continental GT Convertible.

The pinnacle of open-top luxury Grand Touring, the Continental GT Convertible will be on show at The Bentley SCIBS Suite located on the boardwalk overlooking the Marina.

Among other SCIBS highlights, Porsche Centre Gold Coast will have the highly anticipated Porsche 911 on show.

With a familiar design and sleek lines, the 911 boasts a powerful and more efficient 3.0 litre six-cylinder twin-turbo engine that produces a full 331kw. When equipped with the Sport Chrono Package and Launch Control, the 911 can sprint from 0-100km/h in 3.4 seconds.

Another favourite to return is the Porsche in Motion roadshow, which encapsulates the history and heritage of the iconic brand from its inception to the present day.

Visitors will be able to step aboard this mobile display and complete a virtual reality hot lap in the 911, build their dream Porsche and browse the mini-Porsche showroom while experiencing the style and innovation of the brand.

Efficiently propelled by two permanent magnet synchronous electric motors, the Jaguar I-PACE employs similar technology to that found in the I‑TYPE Formula E racing car, generating 249kW and 696Nm of torque.

For those with a real taste for the high life, SCIBS will also feature the latest helicopters from leading aviation solutions provider Hawker Pacific, including its new five-seat Bell 505 Jet Ranger X.

With a cruise speed of 125 knots (232km/h), range of 360 nautical miles (667 km) and useful load of 608kg, the Bell 505 Jet Ranger X is designed to be safe and easy to fly while providing significant value to the operator.

In another SCIBS exclusive, Cirrus Aircraft will display a full-size model of its SF50 Vision Jet for the first in Australia.

Awarded the 2018 Collier Trophy for the year’s “greatest achievement in aeronautics or astronautics in America”, the Vision Jet is the first certified single-engine civilian jet and has a cruise speed of 300 knots (560km/h) and range of more than 1200 nautical miles (2200km).

“We realise there is a lot more to the luxury yachting lifestyle than boats alone,” Mr O’Brien said.

“Visitors to SCIBS have an appetite for all forms of innovative technology, luxury goods and the accessories that add to safety, enjoyment and fulfilment on the water.

“We are thrilled with the diversity and jaw-dropping array of prestige automotive, yacht and personal aircraft that will amaze and inspire visitors to SCIBS 2019.”
