So much more than just a boat show, the 2017 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show boasts a packed schedule of boating-themed displays, live music, kids’ activities, celebrity cooking demonstrations and hands-on experiences for seasoned boaties and those considering dipping a toe in!
The Marine Village has been transformed into a thriving hub of fun for the whole family, as the region’s premier boat show rolls on with four full days of entertainment.
From first entry till sundown, patrons will discover a lively atmosphere teeming with colour and energy throughout the Boat Show precincts and roving entertainment completing the carnival vibe.
SCIBS general manager Johan Hasser said this year’s event features a wide range of diverse activities catering to a range of ages and interests, including world premieres of the latest catamaran, yacht, sport and sail models on water, as well as first-time releases of the hottest luxury and supercar vehicles to hit the road.
Other spectator highlights include the SCIBS Shimano Live Bream Shootout with Paul Burt, the Show’s live fishing tournament, a winner-takes-all contest returning in 2017 by popular demand.
Families will delight in meeting the Sea World Research and Rescue team on board the Sea World I, then rev up your engines at the turbo-charged Supercar Street!
Feed your senses with live cooking shows, bounce around in the kids’ zone, and then be sure to set aside some time to shop and dine in the exquisite Marine Village.
