One of the highlights of the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show is always the highly competitive SCIBS Live Bream Shoot Out. This year the competition had more than $10,000 worth of prizes from Anaconda Stores, Garmin, Shimano and Step Outside with Paul Burt up for grabs including $2000 cash for the grand champs, courtesy of SCIBS.

Hosted by Paul Burt, the competition saw 15 teams in total head out to waters from Jumpinpin to the Nerang River on Saturday and Sunday, each bringing their 10 heaviest bream back to the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show each day at 12.30pm for the official weigh-in. The bream were then released back into the water.

With just 100 grams between first and second place, team Aqua Master took out the top position with a total haul of 11.26 kilograms, just ahead of team QLD Trailer Spares.

Team Aqua Master, consisting of Kane Brady and Chris Whatson, caught 10 bream on day one totalling 7.17 kilograms and were just too good for the other 14 teams to catch.

Check out the final results of all teams below and a huge thank you to everyone who came down to the marina to watch all the action unfold.
