We’re excited to be bringing Spot Zero® watermaker and purification systems into the Twin Disc Pacific family as our newest product offering for the marine market across the Pacific region.

If you’re not familiar with Spot Zero®, it’s a technology that’s been gaining a lot of traction globally – particularly in the superyacht and premium boating space – for its ability to produce ultra pure water onboard.

At its core, the system uses a double pass reverse osmosis process to remove virtually all dissolved solids, PFAs, chlorine, metals and even microplastics. The result is incredibly clean water that helps eliminate spotting, reduce scale build up and protect surfaces and onboard equipment. For vessel owners who care about presentation and maintenance, that makes a real difference.

A smarter approach to watermaking

One of the standout aspects of the latest Spot Zero® systems is how much they’ve evolved. The third generation units have been completely re engineered, with a much simpler internal design that removes around 95 per cent of the plumbing found in earlier systems.

That translates into some very practical benefits:

• A smaller footprint (around 33 per cent reduction)

• Quieter operation (up to 65 per cent less noise)

• A more streamlined, user friendly system overall

Add in features like wireless remote support and built in redundancy, and it’s easy to see why these systems are appealing for vessels that spend long periods away from shore. It gives owners more confidence to stay off grid without worrying about water supply.

Local support from day one

To support the rollout locally, we’ve appointed Marine Solutions Australia as our first authorised Spot Zero® dealership, focused on servicing the South East Queensland marine market.

Having a local partner on the ground means customers will have access to aftermarket support, technical expertise and service, which is key for any onboard system.

Catch it at SCIBS 2026

If you’d like to see Spot Zero® in person, we’ll have it on display at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (21–24 May 2026) on the Twin Disc Pacific stand (G Pier).

It’ll be a great opportunity to get a closer look at the system, ask questions and understand how it can be applied in real world marine environments.
