The winner-takes-all contest takes place on the Saturday and Sunday of the Show, May 27 and 28 with more than $3,000 in prizes up for grabs.
From the glitz and glamour on The Marina, to the trailerboats and jetskis in and around The Marine Village and in The Boatyard, you are sure to find the boat you are searching for. If gear and gadgets is on your shopping list, then our Pavilions are the place for you. Here you will find everything from the latest safety devices to marine electronics and more.
Step on board the fully equipped, 18m rescue vessel Sea World 1 as Sea World’s Research and Rescue Foundation shares its message of marine conservation. The team will also have a rescued turtle on board in celebration of World Turtle Day. You’ll find Sea World 1 located on pier E.
Everyone’s favourite pirate, Captain Jack Sparrow, will welcome visitors to Sanctuary Cove between 9am and 1pm each day of the Show before they head to the Kids’ Zone to enjoy a host of free fun activities.
Supercar Street will host luxury sports and high performance cars guaranteed to fuel dreams of life in the fast lane. See latest models from Bentley, Maserati, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, McLaren, Porsche, Rolls-Royce, BMW, and Mercedes Benz.
Major automotive sponsor Bentley will host an incredible exhibition providing a special glimpse into the craftsmanship, character and racing heritage of the iconic British luxury carmaker.
An extension of the Bentley ‘Be Extraordinary’ road show, the exhibition allows guests to immerse themselves in the brand’s proud 100-year history while also marvelling at its sleek contemporary range.
“This will be an immersive first-hand opportunity to showcase the exquisite craftsmanship, rich racing heritage and the extraordinary people and stories behind the Bentley badge,” said Bentley Asia-Pacific dealer sales manager David Simpson.
The exhibit will include visual stories detailing everything from the process of selecting hides and the length of time it takes to hand-stitch the steering wheel in the Mulsanne, while also celebrating the company’s racing success.
Bentley began its road show at Melbourne’s Crown Casino in November 2016, and hosted pop-up events at the Bathurst 12 Hour race in February and the Australian Formula One Grand Prix in March.
Aspiring gourmet chefs can learn new tricks of the trade to take their cooking to the next level, with Gold Coast fishing and lifestyle expert Paul Burt hosting live cooking demonstrations at SCIBS.
